I've lived here for the last two years, and I really want to be involved in making positive changes for the community. Please feel free to contact me for any voluntary services needed. BY THE WAY, I HAVE A LETTER FROM MY PARENTS TO THE THEN GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK, JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER, DATED APRIL 20, 1965, PLEADING WITH HIM TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DETERIORATING CONDITIONS AT EDGEMERE HOUSING PROJECTS. I ALSO HAVE THE REPLY LETTER, SIGNED BY ROCKEFELLER AND STATING THAT HE WILL SEE WHAT HE CAN DO. ARE YOU PEOPLE STILL WAITING ? KEEP WAITING......

We are our worst enemy! FRUA go after the politicians...where are the project ppl at very important meetings! NYPD continue to lock up the gang members because FRUA is not talking about these kids walking around with guns sticking up hard working ppl or the selling of drugs, project stash houses, NYCHA needs to evict, enforce a strict housing process...build a police preceint in every projects, push out the scumb in the projects, working families take back the projects...i say start snitching

F R U A go after the elected officials go knock on the project door of a parent who is home all day, dont work but wont attend their childs PTA or Teachers conference. i say evict all of the criminals and their rotten ••• kids always robbing and hating on the kids who parents work every day and cant come home to a •••• free elevator. NYCHA should rent only to eledrly, working ppl and young couples. no more ••• offenders dumped out in far rockaway. get rid all halfway houses and drug programs

Listen, you cant blame the police or the man all the time. We are evil against ourselves. crabs in a barrel. we sell the drugs, gang activitiy, generations of families on welfare, dont work, kids roaming the streets all hours of the night, ••• offenders, robbing, stealing, hating,drugs stash houses, orostitiutes, pimps, HIV, ignorance...wake up people

AND, BY THE WAY, AS HEART WRENCHING AS IT IS FOR ME TO VIEW THIS VIDEO, THE SERIOUS PROBLEMS FACING THIS DEVELOPEMENT ARE NOT THE FAULT OR THE RESULT OF THE MISPLACED AND MISDIRECTED PROPOGANDA OF INTENDED NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTIAL GENTRIFICATION. THESE ISSUES LONG PRE-EXISTED ANY OTHER IDEOLOGIES OR ALTERNATE PLANS.THE ACTUAL CAUSES LIE WITHIN AND THE SOLUTION AND THE FUTURE OF EDGEMERE IS JOINTLY IN THE HANDS OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND EDGEMERE'S RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY.

TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY,THE MID 1980'S REVEALED A HEAVY CARCINOGENIC AND TOXIC GAS ESCAPE FROM BENEATH THE GROUND INFILTRATING ALL OF EDGEMERE HOUSING. AFTER ALL, THE ENTIRE DEVOLPEMENT WAS ORIGINALLY CONSTUCTED DIRECTLY ON TOP OF A GARBAGE DUMP. WHATEVER DID NEW YORK CITY DO ABOUT THAT? NO WONDER BOTH OF MY PARENTS DIED OF CANCER. WHAT YOU DO WITH THE NEXT 50 YEARS WILL BE BEYOND THE SCOPE OF MY LIFETIME...........THERE IS NO SOLUTION........ONLY SINCERE AND EXTREMELY DEEP REGRETS.

THE FINAL STEP: THOSE UNFORTUNATE FRAIL,POOR AND ELDERLY REMAINING TENANTS WHO HAD NO OTHER PLACE TO LIVE, WERE BEATEN, HOSPITALIZED AND, IN MANY CASES, MURDERED.SIMPLY CHECK THE VERIFIABLE AND DOCUMENTED 101ST PRECINCT FILES FROM THE LATE 1960'S THROUGH THE EARLY 1970'S.
