Aug 18 - Only 2yrs old and found at the family's apartment at 217 Beach 31 Street with bite marks on his flesh, also covered in blood and vomit according to the reports. He never even had a chance. We must work harder to stop this violence!!!

June 19 - Killed by a shot in the head at about 2:15 p.m. as he was following a friend into a bodega near Redfern Houses. 5 people were shot Sunday, the day before on the same corner.

May 17 - Regrettably shot in the head while dancing during a return visit to her old apartment building in Redfern Houses. Neighbors say she was a loving and kind soul who loved to dance and perform to make others happy. She'll be missed as would all of the victims of gentrification and crime.

|
July 10 - Excerpted from news report - "Hernandez graduated six months early from Far Rockaway High School, where he spent two years on the varsity football team as the squad's starting strong safety and backup quarterback." Patrick was shot while working on his summer job at Far Rock Beach. Another youth Karon Lenihan, 17 was arrested and accused of the slaying. Both young men are victims.

June 13 - Stabbed and beaten to death during an alleged latin gang rift according to reports on the A train at Beach 98th Street Station.

January 5 - Killed at around 2pm on Beach 63rd Street after being chased by several officers. Police reported that Ronnie was packing a 380 caliber hand gun. |

June 12 - AKA Stack Bundles was a hard-core rapper who was shot and killed outside his apartment at 14-60 Beach Channel Drive. Another victim in the spiraling barrel of death in Far Rockaway.

June 18 - An inspiring rapper shot execution style as he was suspected to be the killer of Stacks Bundles on the day of Stacks funeral according to reports. One neighbor of his stated to reporters of Charles, "young and very polite and nice."

Sept. 25 - was shot in the head on Beach Channel Drive. According to a Daily News report 2 men were stabbed only blocks away in an unrelated incident and the next day a 13 year old boy stabbed an 18 year old. |

Nov 27 - Son of mother who was quoted in a news report saying just before the shooting which took place in front of his home, "I went to fix him a plate and he said he would go downstairs and come right back up," his mother said. "But he didn't. He never came back."

May 11 - a Brooklyn native was shot in the leg by 2 men driving by in a vehicle while walking on Everdell Avenue and Gateway Boulevard. He was of the few victims of crime in Far Rockaway but survived the attack.

August - Shot in cold blood durring an aleged rift between 40's and Edgmere Projects (Ocean Bay Apartments). 15 year old Miesha Drake was shot as well but survived a leg wound. "It was Edgemere versus the 40's," said Miesha, an Edgemere resident. "We can't even walk through their project. It's always been that way."

April 20 - Shot by two or more gun man at the Owl Club in Jamaica. According to the Queens DA Report the convicted killer was Kareem Broxton, 30 of Far Rockaway (also a victim). During the attack where several men opened fire 11 people were injured.
